I’m really surprised at how many people remove the Touring-specific black aluminum trim from their Touring cars and spec something else like carbon fiber.

If you specced the 918 style buckets, CF trim makes sense as it ties with the seats. Think if I had the comfy seats I'd stick with the aluminium trim.

How does the standard touring trim compare to the optional Brushed Aluminum Interior Package in Anthracite. I think I may have messed up by selecting the optional trim when I should have kept the original.

Default Touring trim is black, while the Anthracite is gray. Touring black trim looks really nice IMO and tried to CXX spec it on my GT3 but it was going to be over $4k in custom door and dash spec’ing to do it.

Picked up the new touring yesterday at PEC LA. Let me just say that the whole experience exceeded my expectations in every way. Thanks to everyone including Charles and Dieter for making the experience an unforgettable one.
I took my uncle with me for the delivery as my guest...which was fitting, as he was my introduction to the brand when I was five years old in the late 70's cruising at much higher rate of speed than we should've been in his viper green 911S.
I'll post some driving impressions later, but suffice it to say that the car really lives up to the hype.
I went with a super simple and classic spec and am really happy with the choices.

The photos of the absolutely stunning Viper green Touring above has put me right off Lizard. If i get an RS i would have to see LG in the metal before finalising spec.
I also love the Touring in white..Nobody should regret choosing Carrera white as i think its looks really classy and suits the Touring's subtlety to perfection.

Agreed I did carbon fiber because of bucket seats. It’s matchy matchy. I would have left the standard trim if I had sofas.

Which white is the default in the 911 R , standard base white or the metallic white Carrera? Tks

Awesome to see Tourings in vintage vivid colors. After intensely studying Porsche’s PTS colors for many months... and then being denied... I am most envious, and appreciative, especially for the classic hues.
