Yep, this is the plan. The following week-end could work for Pescadero as I am certain I will end up there anyway !

I was able to get in touch with Max and sent him my build sheet and some photos of my Touring and they are going to make it. 6 month wait but that's about how long it took when I spec my car and then took delivery. doing the 1/18 scale. I have had several communication's with Max as he is a real Porsche lover also unlike the new Porsche sales force here in the US which all they care about is the almighty dollar.

I was resisting posting a pic before I have the car but what the hell. Now that the contract is signed and money has exchanged hands. That car was also listed here. I am not a white car guy but somehow this one with the controversial R like stripes struck a nerve.

Thanks. Landing in SFO at 11:45AM Sunday, heading to LA asap in my C2 trying to make it there before the dealer closes and without being arrested. If not will have to wait for the Monday morning opening and drive back to the bay area. Not being arrested on the way back could even by harder.

Plane landed 1h early in SFO but we stood on the tarmac for 40min waiting for a gate, which is a typical thing these days at SFO. It's now 11:40am and I need to get to Weslake Village before 6pm to pick up the GT3T. First Uber to my place, typically Uber shows up really fast at SFO but this time the guy calls me he missed the exit WTF, 10 mins. I told him that "I am in a rush", nice guy, drives around 85mph on 101 to get to Mtn View. I put the dealer's address in Waze, ETA 6:45pm. Damn, forget that shower let's rush down to LA. Get in my C2 and no fuel (of course), fill up and head down 101, ETA 6:50pm now. Made it to the dealer by 5:30pm, hopefully no aircraft took a picture of me at triple digit speeds. Car was ready, deal was already done anyway, chat with the sales guy and review final paper work with the finance guy and drive 0.8 miles to my hotel..... Jetlag should have me up real early for the drive back. This one drive will almost double the mileage on the car and take car of the break in. It's very beautiful in person. What a day to get here !

Beautiful car! Congrats! The black/white combo looks great. Watch out for a speed trap on the 101, just south of Santa Maria and I’ve heard King City is a speed trap haven as well. If you want to let her rip, consider taking 33 north out of Ojai. Will be a longer route but well worth it, trust me! Enjoy the California Delivery experience! Did you trade in your C2, I would imagine?
