Best Exhaust for a 991.2 GT3

I have a GRP on mine and vacuum lines plugged so no more valves. I am very happy and I am glad to be done with any Mods. I do not need this car any faster and love the sound. Loud but tolerable. Does not sound as good as my previous GT4 but louder and more GT3 sounding any way.

They seem to have a good reputation outside of the states. I'm not sure if it is because there are so many other manufacturers in the US. IPE is definitely the best sounding, hands down. If you type 991 GT3 exhaust on youtube, most videos will be IPE. It has a valve option too unlike bypass'.

It does, because it runs 100 cell cats, which these cars are SUPER sensitive to. Its the biggest reason I DIDN'T go with Akra, which really bugs me. Why they didn't go with 200 cell cats drives me crazy.

No Sir, please do not give incorrect information, .2 system is not out yet. 991.1 fits but it’s not what Akrapovic recommends so far, options should be out soon

When we spoke with Akrapovic's engineers we were told that that 991.1 GT3 exhaust works without modification on the 991.2 GT3 and that when the 991.2 GT3 releases it would share about 95% of the same components with the remaining 5% likely coming from the tip exit design.
Technically you are correct in saying that the 991.2 GT3 Akra exhaust is not out yet so I apologize for saying it was the exact same between the .1 and .2/

I just ordered a cargraphic bypass pipe, and will likely order the full system in a bit...I've been trying to reach that higher pitch sound but not sacrifice any build quality or power. I tried to rationalize an Armytrix or IPE system but I seem to just not be able to. Something about the cargraphic system (lightweight 3 in particular which DOES use their side mufflers) seems to hit that howl that the other higher pitch (IPE, Armytrix) but doesn't seem to worry me as much potentially quality or design wise given the GT3/RS's apparently more complex running issues than other cars Ive had. REALLY want a company to come out with JUST a side muffler system for the car without having to order everything else...as that seems like a HUGE part of that high pitch howl...but every company likes to combine them with other things it seems like.

At least two of the people I know with the system do get CEL's with the system (200 really seems to be the safe bet here) and as much as tuning is a nice thing, it's really REALLY not worth the potential hassle should something go wrong with the motor (in general, not even because of the tune) and having an issue with warranty.

Akrapovic from what I’ve seen is producing mostly homologated systems or at least trying to avoid third party products, as software
