Looking for Hotel Recommendations for Euro Delivery in November
Hey guys,
I'm looking for some safe parking/hotel recommendations for my euro delivery scheduled in November.
I'd like recommendations in these areas:
Zuffenheisen/Stuttgart
and
Spa, Belgium (near circuit de Spa)
and the Nurburgring
There are a couple 'days' that we haven't settled on, where the wife would like to see some castles, and site seeing items as well.
Appreciate the recommendations.
Best Regards,
Dave

Many more choices in Stuttgart and Ring - With my GT4, I stayed at Graf Zeppelin in Stuttgart and Dorint at Ring and both have good indoor parking.

I just was in Stuttgart last week and stayed at the Le Meridian hotel. The ramp to parking was tight but once in the parking garage there was plenty of space. It's about 15 minutes from the factory and museum. Very nice hotel.

Porsche has a parts distribution center and some marketing offices about 15 minutes from Zuffenhausen in Ludwigburg. Very nearby is a beautiful little hotel called Schlosshotel Monrepos. Porsche actually uses the facility for offsite meetings .
They do not have a parking garage but there is limited covered parking. I’ve been staying there since 1975 and I’ve never had a problem parking my new tourist delivery car.
While in Stuttgart be sure to put the Mercedes museum on your list of things to do

The Graf Zeppelin Steigenberger that someone mentioned has good parking inside, an amazing breakfast buffet, a nice lobby, but the rooms were a little basic.
I'd stay there again; basically only sleeping in the room anyways. Plus its within walking distance of Koenigstrasse shopping area. 15 mins from Zuffenhausen.

Two weeks ago I stayed at the Park Inn by Radisson. Well located close to Centre of Stuttgart with excellent parking with a wide ramp, easy approach angle and big parking bays. Got my GT3 and M2 in there no problems. And it's got a fantastic breakfast.

If you want secure parking at the Ring, its the Dorint or one of the other BIG hotels, if you want to *experience* the Ring, its
Am Tiergarten ... frankly you dont have to worry about
security there ... expensive metal is 10-a-penny there ...
no one's going to notice your car amongst the 10's of other P-cars and other exotica and its in the middle of nowhere too

to take a different angle, don't stay at the Mercure Zuffenhausen. Even it is 10 min walking distance to the Museum at Porscheplatz, not worth it...writing these lines from this hotel.
Motel One is always a good budget option.
At the Ring, you can't go wrong with both Lindner (was there last week) or Dorint (but only refurbished rooms). But many family owned small hotels close to the ring.
