No problem! Looks like many others out there like the wart too. lol... Received a bunch of messages about the mod. Most are going with other types of gages.

Hey ?bro?

I rather doubt if you'll receive a reply since the last time he visited Rennlist was 06/18. More than a year and a half ago.

I have some suggestions:
  • Stop spamming the forums. Multiple identical posts in different forums really isn't how it's done.
  • Overuse of emoticons is a bit tacky.
  • We are not texting. We spell out words.

Given that - here is your answer - if it's the stock clock - order this: https://www.gaudinporscheparts.com/o...om-98161269200 - which is an extension "harness" made to add a chrono to a 987. Plug and play as they say. I would test that it works before hacking a big hole in your dash, but that's probably just me - I don't like to do irreversible things like this until I'm certain it will work. And no- I don't know what cable this goes into - but looking at the connectors it's probably one for the PCM or radio.

Good luck. Let us know if it works.

I have no idea since I haven't done that to my Boxster.. but Porsche uses unique connectors - you should be able to easily determine where in the PCM the plug goes and what plug goes into the other end (the one you took out of the PCM) - then just plug the clock into the 3rd connector and make sure it works - before hacking a big hole in your dash.
