Seems oddly high, as even with a low driveline loss assumption, that would indicate the motor was over Porsche spec at the crank and would never have left the factory. I thought any motor 5% or more over spec gets pulled and broken down, no?

not making this up.
We did three pulls each on a whole variety of cars today and everyone was right in the range they thought they would be.
Its all stock, and yes it seems high but then again it is fast as can be so...
feel free to make stuff up if it makes you feel better.

A lot depends on efficiency assumption as well. I've seen GT4 runs that assume 88 percent (which seems high to me), and that would put your car in spec at around 390 at the crank.

there is a pretty big variance of results from one Dyno manufacturer to another for some reason
I did a. Dyno pack (which reads on the lower end, the result was 355whp n 278 tq, typical power loss from the crank 15-20% which translates to 408- 426 at the crank
I modded my car w plenum /tb, Kline manifolds w hjs 200 cel cats mated w Cobb AP ( which I had Mitch from Cobb look at datalogs from Dyno pulls , his opinion was everything was dialed in perfectly)
Doing those mods has made big difference in the cars performance, my opinion is the results are understated from Dyno data

A GT4 will pull between 300 and 325 rwhp on a MAHA dyno which also measures losses on run down.
I hate to spoil the party but your Spyder is more than likely in that range.
Its also worth noting that a lot of tuners have very happy dynos and results can vary significantly between dynos and from day to day on the same dyno.

In the OP's defense, Porsche's tolerance range would have a Spyder up to 395hp at a crank. And I will say, my Spyder feels every bit as powerful as my 400hp Carrera S.
