Just received an update from my SA. My car went into PDI on 4/1 but doesn't look like PDI has been completed. May explain the lag between arrival and the ETA to dealer, which is 4/15 like everyone else.

He also mentioned that 2017 model years were being held at port for something related to CARB emissions, causing a backlog at the port. And then I came across the article below.

My GT4 arrived on Queen Ace. According to my SA, the car should be at the dealership no later than April 15. Finally, I can make my plans for a trip to Vegas to pick it up.

I have to fly out to get my car as well. But I'm holding off on making arrangements until my car is loading on a truck. The 4/15 is still a estimate...never know what will happen with PDI, customs, getting on a truck, etc.

Yup... I'm 4/15 as well. After reading that article, I have a feeling it will be past that ETA. Especially knowing the fact that the GT3, GT4 and Spyder all require a different type of truck that can accommodate a lower ground clearance. So I foresee delays

My SA confirmed that any day after 4/15 should be OK. To be safe, I booked tickets for 4/18 and we are planning to spend a few days in Vegas anyway. If worst comes to worst, I'll rebook.

Heard from my dealer today. He said my Spyder has cleared customs and the port - just waiting for a truck to pick it up. Supposedly, this is organized by Porsche for GT and Spyders. He is thinking tomorrow or Friday but can't commit.

Since I'm still carless, really hoping it's tomorrow and I can pick up on Friday!

Default My Spyder's ETA San Diego also 4/8/16

Just got advised today by my new SA (my third SA for this purchase!!! - what a revolving door!) that my Spyder will be arriving about two weeks earlier than originally anticipated. Will hit port of San Diego 4/8 so I suppose that means I'm on the Cougar Ace as well. Time to liquidate a few stock positions before the market collapses! LOL

Same here. My car should be at my dealer in Vegas on 9th.
Congratulations to everyone. It's been a long long wait for many of us.

My GT4 has exited PDI and is ready to ship. Just awaiting a truck. ETA at dealership is 4/22. It's hard to tamp down the excitement...

That's quick (if on the Queen Ace as well). My dealer is in Riverside, California - still awaiting the truck. No response from my daily inquiry to dealer today. I don't want to annoy him, but I really want the car!
