Default Aluminum Pedals

I ordered the aluminum pedals and foot rest and am undecided on the look or feel of them. They certainly go with the brushed aluminum trim I ordered for the other interior pieces. But, at this point, I'm thinking seriously about swapping them out in the Spring for stock. I believe the stock pedals and foot rest in the 981S are rubber with a chrome surround. Can someone please post a pic of the stock pedals and foot rest in their 2015 or 2016 981S? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Drive by the dealer and look in person. Better than any photo.

Just trying to save myself a trip to the dealership. Just need to see if stock pedals are all rubber or have chrome surround. Thanks.

Thanks! I like them more than the full aluminum pedals on my car. Wonder if the Spyder pedals are same as stock pedals on the 981S? Can an S owner weigh in? Thanks.

They really stand out. I think the stock pedals are more elegant. It's all subjective. Personal taste. I'll sell you mine when I swap them out in the Spring if you like. Save you some $$. PM me if you're interested.

If your shoe is wet, the stock pedal will slip and make a squeaky noise.

Since my car will likely not be driven in the rain, that becomes a non-issue!

I like those better than the OEM aluminum pedals that I ordered. But, I really prefer to stay with OEM parts - which is why I've ordered the stock pedals. I'm going to look closely at them before I swap them out.

I have ordered stock pedals for my 981S - I just don't love the aluminum pedals that I ordered with the car (you can see them in the original post). They're going to be swapped out in a month or so when the weather warms up and the roads clear. The car (and the pedals) are brand new. I paid around $550 for them, but Suncoast has the set of 4 (including the footrest) advertised for $449. They will fit any 981 from what I understand, including a Spyder. Make me a reasonable offer for the full set, and we can deal on shipping cost, if needed. Let me know if you have any interest - if so, we can do business in the Spring. I can include more pics if you'd like. I'm in suburban Philly, but shipping should be no problem. You can PM me if interested.

FWIW I really like the Porsche aluminum pedals in the 981 Spyder.
