You can find new and low mileage 981 Spyders (some still have to be delivered) for 10-25K more than list price, on the big auto trader sites (mobile.de)
There is even a 987 for sale with approx 8000miles for more than the list price of a decently specced 981, and this is at an official Porsche dealership.

My Spyder will have the LWB's. It pushed the production 8-12 weeks forward but I don't care as once I get it I know it will have been worth the wait.

Sounds like a correct assumption - word from German PZ is that LWB will become available again for cars with a built date January and later.
