not sure if anyone mentioned this already but simple changes could make top so much more practical. move the electric button that unlocks the roof to the door so dont have to get in then out again. or even better on the key fob. then include the trunk lid also opens with this button which eliminates another step. finally, have the 2 latches that hold the tops rear wings open w same button so dont have to walk around car. this way push key fob, lift trunk, put roof down, close trunk. done.

Someone still has to clip/push the wing-ends into the roof on both sides before folding. Just watched the OP video again. Those wings look more ridiculous (superfluous) each time I watch it.

But don't forget something in the trunk once the top is down or you'll be repeating the process.

One of the things I loved about the Miata in a downpour was that you only had to slow down a little, reach behind you and slap, slap... all done, no more rain on the noggin. Then you could zip down the plastic window (from inside the car) and let the air flow throw the cabin with the same bikini top effect.
Progress...

Wonder if it's going to be the same thing that happened with the Boxster. I thought you could use the fob with the boxster/S outside the U.S. to open the top as well.
