They came off a 2010 Boxster S. I took some pictures but I need my kids to help me download them. Wish me luck. I have a passenger side pad with a very small imperfection. PM me if interested.

Tx. So far the passenger side is 100%. Just the driver's that is off. How do you dissemble it to replace the pad?

I carefully pried them off. Each pad has 3 studs that go into plastic grommets. 1 at top dead center of the pad, and 1 on each side towards the bottom of the pad. Hope this helps.

Set of leather roll bar covers 987-580-311-03-A11 $1405.07

I forget the issue on the covers but I believe they are either Spyder specific or 987 specific.

My car had the same thing on the passenger side…must be something about taking the top on/off from the driver's side and not seeing what is going on over on the passenger side. The top was on the car (winter in Omaha) and I did not see it until later. Porsche dealer PPI missed it also.
Tx. Leather would be nice and if one was purchasing new, then why not, right?

anyone replaced a cracked/shattered plastic end cap on the bar itself? that bolts down onto 'hoops'

my driver side has become damaged and I don't think Porsche will sell this part on its own?

So it has to be a 987 car, when I was looking there were none for resale.

I thought about leather but the dealer had no clear pictures or knowledge to see if there was stitches showing which might be nice. The pads are in full sun too...having leather there would hard to maintain.

Same for me…I covered a flathead screwdriver with a towel. Sometimes the grommet can be reused but at less than a dollar no big deal.

I'm 99% certain that the full leather option also included leather roll hoops. My hoops don't have the same techture as the ones I'm seeing in these pics, they look the same as my dash and seats. As far as stitching, there is none visible. As far as maintenance, so far they seem ok but my car doesn't get significant sun exposure, only when driving really.
