So I did a quick search for Spyders and from what I'm seeing there are about 8 PDK's and 6 Manual's. None of the manuals had the buckets but I did see one PDK with bucket.

I get the feeling that all the leased Spyders have finally filtered through and the cars have changed hands to owners that won't be getting rid of them as rapidly. This is definitely the lowest quantity that I've seen for sale since I started tracking them in 2010.

If demand remains and supply is scarce we know what happens next.

So I am curious, for anyone asking which transmission is better, MT or PDK, is the context about value or driving experience?

My Spyder was just voted "Best of Show" at our local PCA chapter Oktoberfest- Over 150 people and 50+ cars.

We all know it was because of the 6 speed and buckets. Everyone that sat in the buckets loved them.... Dealers do not know what people want.

PS- I washed it for the first time in 6 months....

Beautiful. I did a double-take for a second, thought it was mine. Such a great color. Had mine out to a Classic Car event this Canadian Thanksgiving day. Lots of attention.

Found this one in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada! It ticks all the right boxes, eh? It's been there for quite a few months. Not quite sure what exactly the badging is on the rear lid...

I don't think so, but he just found another black with manual and buckets here! Just in time for the track next week.

Might be a dumb question, considering the rarity, but did your friend purchase a delete car?

I love bacon!

But seriously, does anyone think the delete cars will command premiums over the same car with a/c and radio added back in?

I think the main points are, carbon buckets, PSE, and the manual, factory short shift preferred. My car also has carbon ceramics. Let me tell you, I have NEVER felt a car stop as well, never. Its complete overkill and I LOVE IT!!! I wonder how many similar cars are out there.

Personally I would seek out a car with AC again because on sunny days with the top down it gets real hot real quick. The radio is 10 lbs, I don't think that makes or breaks a car.

Ill put in the LTW battery from Porsche and then it will be a wash. The right Spec cars are sub 2850lbs at the curb. That's pretty good.
