Ok sorry for the old thread bump - I'm hoping BGB sees my comment/question.

I've currently got a 987, mostly track duty. Have a Sparco Ergo in it now, with custom brackets that bolt the seat down to the floor (I'm tall). My wife is 5'2 and because of the seat being bolted down, she can't share the car with me.

I had the opportunity to drive a GT4 this past weekend. The owner had installed the factory sport buckets out of his old Cayman R (as the GT4 didn't come with the LWB's), and with the seat cushion removed - the height was PERFECT. So I was going to look for a Cayman R seat to swap into my car since it'd have a slider (and just move the Ergo to the passenger side).

Your comment above (about the R seat sitting low in the 981 chassis)... "The seat sits very low in a 981".... so does that mean that I'd likely run into height issues with a Cayman R bucket in a 987? Sorry, likely an obvious question but just wanted to confirm before I start seriously combing the web for a seat!
