I had a last minute opportunity to rent out Thunderhill on New Years day for myself and a small group of friends. Some of us even brought our wives along for the day. I'm glad I did it, because it was the best new years day ever! The funny thing is, I didn't get a whole bunch of time in my own car because I was busy riding/driving in my friends' cars most of the day. LOL.

Of course that means, I have some video to share.

1) showdown - 2 of my other friends took the spyder out for some laps. I had data and video recording, so I got the bright idea to make a virtual 'race' movie. I won, but just barely. It's scary how fast they were given that it wasn't their car and it was their first time driving the spyder on track.

Hope to see you up here this year, Steve! BTW, I used the BRZ to haul up the spyder's track wheels/tires, so for the hell of it, I did a session on my oem wheels and your old ps2 tires. They suck. LOL. Grip is ok, but very inconsistent, particularly under braking. Those tires are for the street only, and will last me a long time.
