Not really....less than 50 on a track. My wife does not wan this car converted to a track car. So the Golf R or M3 get all the track miles.

Our Spyder will be two years old in a week and has only 9800 miles on it but as you can see from the picture we have to share the miles with other equally fun toys. Retirement is good and hope it lasts for a long time.

2012 Aqua blue Spyder sport buckets PDK etc and a real oil pressure gauge
2009 997 S with lots of goodies 37,000 miles
1983 Euro Spec SC now basically an IROC RS with 134,000 miles

Wow, wicked cool but my back hurts just thinking of wrenching on all of em! I have a perfect 71 Fiat my dad gave me before he went all the way into dementia. I can't drive it, the car is crippling me. So I have to sell it, probably to my cousin, I hate doing it but I know my dad would be happy to see him have it. That looks like a nice parcel of land too. That's my next mission, not another ride, a different state with more land for me my spyder and dog to retire on.

funny to make my first 987 post to the high mileage thread, but here's my new-to-me spyder with 34,123...

I guess it was the po's daily driver...

Yeah - but those were 50 good track miles. (I was in the green Cayman R kicking around COTA with you a few months back).

these things have a long life span. The DFI can withstand the abuse.

They last so long that it is hard to find an excuse to swap the motor out for a 3.8L DFI

Update -- just hit 50,000 miles today! Still just loving the car. Guessing I probably have the highest mileage Spyder going. I don't even have 6,000 miles on my GT3RS, so you can tell which car I am enjoying more.

I am no where near some of the mileage reported as I have but 16, 700 on my 2012 BUT I may be competitive as I have almost 5,000 with the trailer in tow. This was on the way to Parade 2014

Only 9.5k after my trip to the Parade. Perhaps I can add more on next year if Rennsport Reunion happens in October next year. Anyone have a date or denial to the rumor that I heard at Parade?
