Is there any place out there where I can get a pair of gt2 sport buckets in sand beige?

Rottec has them and others.

I have spoken with Suncoast and yes you can get them in other colors than black. However the process is expensive as you order the seats in either black leather or cloth and then order the seat skins in the color you want. Suncoast told me up to five months to get the colored skins, black cloth Sport Bucket seats are in stock. Then if you want Alcantera inserts that is an additional charge. Nice thing about Suncoast is they are upfront and will work to find a solution to your request and their pricing is very good

So I'd be looking at around 10k I assume. What about if I use 996 gy3 seats? Is the savanna that different from sand beige?

You'll be lucky to get seats and the various leather pieces to convert to beige for $10k. I would imagine you'll be closer to $15k than $10k.

I was in the same boat and you are basically screwed. After finding out about having to special order the individual leather covered parts if you want them in any other color than black (confirmed by four different dealerships) I was hoping to get a scuffed set for relatively cheap and have them recovered for about $2,000+. The problem is people take care of them and they are never cheap, even used.

I finally bit the bullet. Got the black ones new from Isringhausen (better price than Suncoast) and they actually don't look too bad with a sand beige interior. I may change the color of the inserts in the future to better match the rest of the interior but that would only be about $300.

The major problem with using the GT3 seat is that you'll lose the side air bags.

I can post some picture later if you want. Good luck!

Not the best pictures but gives you an idea of the black GT2 seats in a sand beige interior.
