Modern classic for sure IMO too. The whole body style is totally different and I don't get that special feel when I look at the Cayman R.

Ed, loves the chicken butter masala that I shipped to CO a few days back. I may get lucky after all ..
Just in case you're still looking, you can't go wrong with Jamie Oliver

Did you pick up the Aqua Blue spider with the tan interior? I noticed it's no longer on cars.com

Amar has his sights set on another Aqua Blue Spyder, even more unique than the Spyder on cars.com.

imho, Porsche will continue with "limited production" cars as the car cycle ages. This has been going on since the 1980s (think "turbo" bodied NA 911s, Think 964 America Roadster, RSAmerica, Speedster, Think all the Boxster "editions", RS60, Spyder, "black" etc).

Also, it seems, whenever there is a "new" generation of, frankly, "superior" porsche, current owners cry fowl and request cars more and more like theirs or older.

I've come to the realization while the "new" porsche's are fantastic cars, my IDEAL porsche was built between somewhere between 1955 and 1998.. It is aircooled.. It is "noisy" and "hard to drive" by today's standards.

I've also realized that my ideal MODERN Porsche might not be a porsche at all... but rather a Lotus Elise!
