Hi All,
Looking to confirm which (if any?) Cayman S windows are UV tinted from the factory? I see no "UV" stamp on the glass but want to ask to make sure. Don't see it anywhere in the manual either. My old IS350's windows were UV tinted from factory and it made a nice difference for road trips, etc.
Want to make sure I'm not UV tinting the Cayman if it already has it.
Thanks!

Crickets, huh? I'll take that as a no. Not sure why Porsche wouldn't apply UV film to cars from the factory. Saves the interior from the sun and it's not like the UV film weighs much.
Oh and also saves from farmer tan on long trips.

Not sure on specifics but I had my glass replaced by an autolite dealer and he said all glass has UV protection built into them.
He pointed out that you don't see cars that are within 10 years old having blistered panels, due in part to the change in the glass chemistry.

To the original poster, for driving comfort and drying of leather / interior components, you would not only need to look at UV protection, but also IR protection:
https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...ight=photosync
This product comes in a shade as light as 75%, which is just 12%-15% darker than OEM glass. Specs are impressive:
99.5% UVA and UVB block
98.5% IR rejection
Check with the manufacturer to see if there is anyone in your area carrying PhotoSync Nano Tint
