Default Picked up a Cayman S today

Hi All,

Picked up a CPO Cayman S today. Had to get another coupe after selling my 964 C2 a while back. Wanted to introduce myself to this section of Rennlist now that I'll be visiting here much more! First impression so far.. Mid-engine makes a huge difference in feel (to me).

Looking forward to the information here. See you around!

Congrats!
That doesn't look like San Diego to me, so I'm thinking Trenton?

Nice! Mine's an '06. Has 27k miles. Carrera White with Sand Beige interior. Almost picked up an '05 997 for around the same price, but to be honest the mid-engine handling and sound of the Cayman S were more impressive than I ever would have guessed. I'm very happy with this car, but miss having a sunroof!

Pics soon. (I know the rules!) I only have one that I took with my phone so far. Once I get time to take some with my DSLR, I'll post.

Trying not to modify it. Key word "trying". Have an Evo for that!

PS..Taking this Cayman S on a 3000 mile cross-country trip in the next few weeks. Should be a blast!

I agree

It does make me wonder why they still make cars with the engine in any other location. I came from a 964 so was intoxicated by the Aircooled howl and 911 feel, but i truly love driving the Cayman (just got back from a 3000 mile run around Europe).

Did anyone say pics?

I picked up my 08 Cayman S with 21k miles for $35k in February. I searched the country to find one with PASM, its the best option IMO.
