GT3 has different master cylinder with proportioning due to the much larger fluid flow needed for the larger brake calipers. Due to the significantly larger front calipers, it has more front brake bias. Just installing this on a 986/987 could very easily cause a brake balance shift that the driver may not be ready for. I assume in posting this add that you are willing to accept that liability.
Stock master cylinder is adequate, yes. It is sufficient to properly stop the car with no issues. The problem, for the umteenth time, is pedal feel. Take a 987 to the track, and then get back into your GT3. Competely different. Yes, completely different cars, but it's not because of the pricepoint because my Evo X pedal feels just as good as a GT3 brake pedal. The 'feel' is subjective, so some people don't have a problem with it. I do. The MC swap helps, but it's still not perfect. As far as brake bias goes, I have not had a problem, but my PCCBs have much larger calipers in the front than the standard brakes.
