Default GT3 wheels on Cayman S

Found a nice set of 2002(?) GT3 wheels for sale, and I'm courious if I should pull the trigger.
Front 8J x 18H2-ET50 with 225/40 ZR18s
Rear 11J x 18H2-ET45 with 295/30ZR 18s

One source said they will fit but would need a 5mm spacer on the rear. Somewhat concerned that they might screw up the handleing. Would be used with R compounds for HPDE's.

Anyone ever tried this setup?

The rear is too wide for the car. OEM stagger difference is like 30mm, and the setup you're proposing is 70mm. This setup is fine for a 911 with the motor in the rear, but a mid-engine car would understeer everywhere. 911 and Cayman fitments are not interchangeable.

Thank you for the responce. I was afraid they wouldn't work.
I currently have Carrera Classics:
F 8" x 19" ET57
R 9 1/2" x 19" ET 46

Since I'm still looking for a set of 18" track wheels, would these be the optimum widths & offsets for my 987 without spacers?

F 8 1/2" x 18" ET50
R 10" x 18" ET36

If no, what is recommended?
Are there any OEM Porsche wheels that could be used?
Cost is a concern, as I know Fiske, CCW & others woud make anything I want but I'd rather stay with Porsche wheels.

No such animal as a 2002 GT3 exists. 99-00 GT3s has 18x8/18x10. 04-05 GT3s had 18x8.5/18x11 wheels. Rear offset are 65 or 67 (I can't remember exactly). Based on the sizes/offsets, those are either Turbo or C4S wheels. The rear will not fit you car due to the offset. They will already stick out too far. There is no way added spacers will make them fit any better.

Thanks for the reply. Seller had them on a GT2. They look like GT3 wheels, but they might be GT2 wheels. I've moved on to look for wheels that WILL fit, prefering no spacers.
