Thinking about pulling the trigger. Really like that it is Porsche certified.

That looks like a very nice Spyder. All the right options (except the missing PSE) and great color combo.
My only recommendation is due diligence which would include a thorough visual inspection to make sure the car wasn't resprayed or in an accident. Being CPO and still under warranty you shouldn't have to worry about much else.
Good luck and let us know if you get it!

I would be curious to see what "certified" actually means on such a new car.
Prices are continually dropping and time is on your side.

When purchased while the new car limited warranty is still active:
New Car Limited Warranty Coverage
(From original in-service date)
4 years or 50,000 miles/80,000 kilometers,
whichever comes first
+ Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty
(After expiration of the new car limited warranty)
Up to an additional 2 years or 50,000 miles/80,000
kilometers, whichever comes first
(Vehicles can be covered up to 6 years from original date of sale or 100,000 miles/160,000 kilometers,
whichever comes first.)
When purchased after the new car limited warranty has expired:
Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty
2 years from the date of sale or an additional 50,000 miles/80,000 kilometers, whichever comes first

It's got the right (lack of) options, and looks pretty good. But I can't tell whether it's just the lighting and photography, since the steering wheel and gearshift appear very shiny. I always wonder how this happens with some people's cars - oily hands, I suppose.
I would interpret that as a "questionable" benefit on a 2011 with only 7500 miles on it. That extended warranty is going to add $2-3 grand onto the price of the car. To some it's worth it, to others it may not be.
Also, unless this is a new offering, the warranty purchased after the original has already expired, is an aftermarket 3rd party warranty with a significant mark-up.

You can always offer to buy the car without the CPO for $2k less. I guess it depends on how long you intend to keep the vehicle. The listed price is a reasonable one; without CPO would be an even better deal. There should be almost 3 years of factory warranty remaining, depending on the in-service date.
Scott,
Firstly...CONGRATS! As soon as you drive it you won't give a **** about the money.
And yes, it will make it easier to re-sell, and you might be able to re-coupe some of the cash if the original is past the half way mark.
ENJOY!!
