Default Wind Screen Rattle

My clear plastic factor windscreen rattles a lot on less than perfect roads (2009 Boxster). Any ideas on how to prevent this or lessen it? If I touch it all the rattle goes away, but once my hand comes off it rattles again if the road is not perfect.

I took mine off after the first week and it's been in the garage since. No rattle here!

Go to home depot and get some felt. Stick it in the clips, and then no rattle.

Remove your Windstop and refit it correctly, making sure that the bottom is centered, from the rear, against the bottom stop and tilt it up and push each side down. If your latches are not broken and you have it centered correctly, it should not rattle. Grasp it and give it a little wiggle after refitting it. If it moves about, remove and refit. The wind is hitting the Windstop from the rear, so rattles are usually caused by improper alinement or broken latches. Best of luck.

Yes there is a TSB,already had it done..To be honest I never heard a rattle but had them do it anyways. They did drill out some rivets and replaced them. I pulled my paper work and the update number is WB-11 (replacing holders for wind deflector)

Part numbers:

Qty 6 - 986-580-751-00 - clips
Qty 1 - 000-043-301-46 - Fastening Par
