Question Having problem with top not closing properly

I have an 05 Boxster and the top does not close properly - the beading on the edge behind the side windows does not go inside the plastic guide on both sides. This was causing a leak on both sides until I figured out that it was not closing properly.
Is there an adjustment to change the position of the top beading? I diod a search but could not find any threads on this issue.

My '06 does that sometimes on the passenger side. I just stop the top about 4" from closing and reach over and check it before I finish closing the top. For me it's just a minor thing

Mine does it on both sides and I was wondering if this can be adjusted so you don't have to reach out and pull it in each time you close the top.
