Thanks for the vanity plate suggestions. I have submitted several options, hopefully they will approve one of them. I have also ordered my first (minor) upgrade, clear side markers.

Good call on the clear side markers! I was scrolling down just to suggest that.

I ordered a set for my cayman yesterday, so hopefully they'll be here soon.

Did you get different bulbs for them too?

Ordered the clear side markers from Sun Coast. They come with the amber bulbs. Now I am dreaming of bigger upgrades, like a sport exhaust kit.

DEFINITELY get the sports exhaust, it transforms the driving experience. This engine/exhaust combo sounds fantastic and best part is you can turn it off if you need to keep things quiet.

You don't need to buy silver bulbs. It is easier and much cheaper to make your own. Get this spray paint -- Rust Oleum High Heat Spray paint product # 7716830 - Silver. Is about $4 at hardware store. Make a hole on a card board box, stick the bulb through, so that glass part is on one side and the bulb is sticking up. Spray from a foot away, and only use enough just to cover the amber, not even one full coat, like misting the bulb. Let it dry. The bulb will still blink amber(white blinking bulb is rice IMO). But it will look silver sitting still. If you spray too much paint, it won't blink amber. To buy silvervision bulbs, is about $30 a pair, and it blinks white?
