I like the silver steering wheel spokes. But that red interior really catches my attention.

I don't think you can pick the steering wheel spoke or airbag color. It seems like later cars were getting the black spokes and black airbag regardless of leather color. I think the paddle shift wheel (or the sport 6 speed equivalent) only comes with silver spokes. I'd hope that the airbag used with that wheel would always be color matched to the leather - I think it just looks better.

My car also has black trim on the steering wheel. I wonder why they changed this....

Well guys, thanks for all the pics and help.

I ordered the spyder yest...blk/blk full leather, sport buckets, black wheels, sport chrono, sport exhaust, short shifter, park asst, A/C, headrest crests, sound pkg plus, key pouch.

I am torn to add the gas cap (I think it could make me smile every time I fill up...you know just a little something extra) and leather sunvisors.

I really wanted to go with the red full leather and yours looks great, but in the end decided black was the safer choice as I have seen a blk/blk car and have not been able to see a red interior in person, except for a 3 year old RS60.

Nice build. Red interior wouldn't have been my first choice either but I got my Spyder used and now I really appreciate how unique it makes the car. The Sport design steering wheel for 6 speed Spyders is now available so you might want to consider that. I don't know how you feel about cupholders but they are free and only add 7 ounces of weight. Be sure your dealer checked off the free Bluetooth as well.

You are going to love your Spyder.

I really like the red as well and it was a tough call for me. I am sure red will be more unique some day and I think it is very sporty and a throw back to when real cars had all sorts of colors available.

I actually prefer the standard wheel, it is all black and blends in well with the black interior......

I did get the cup holders, universal audio and bluetooth.

Now I just have to resist the temptation to add something to the build.!!!!

I would seriously consider Alacantera over leather sunvisors for one reason. It makes it easy to remove the warning labels. It is nearly impossible to remove the labels on the standard sunvisors. I don't know how difficult it is on the leather ones.

I believe the gas cap can be added later.

The optional gas cap is just silver painted plastic. Bit of a ripoff, IMO, but you can always buy one over the parts counter.

For fancy sunvisors, in either leather (or Alcantara) sunvisors, buy them from Carnewal or other source that can get non-US spec versions, so they don't have the ugly airbag warning stickers.

I love those all red interiors my first choice by a large margin.

I've never seen that little red strap on the doors before, interesting.

This board is great. you guys might have saved me some money and disappointment....silver painted plastic, I agree big disappointment,,,,and it looks so substantial, like billet aluminum in the photo, silver painted plastic would not bring a smile, so I can scratch that thought.

I'm a big fan of the red leather especially in the Spyder.
