Default FS: 2005 Boxster S / Market quesiton, feeler on 987

OK, I'm going to convert this to a For Sale:

For Sale: 2005 Boxster S
Artic Silver
3.2l
6speed manual
Mileage: ~39,800 miles

Car was just fully serviced, all fluids, brake flush, radiator flush, etc, new battery.
Probably 40% life left in the tires. No cosmetic flaws or other issues.
Rag top works without hiccup. Car just goes great.

Asking $28,000 or best offer. Located in Norther New Jersey.

PM me if interested.

Around the Wash DC market, that's about a $ 30K car.

I just bought a 2001 Boxster and have good feel for Boxster prices and would agree. In midwest area, $28,000-$30,000 range for S model and $26,000-$28,000 for standard model in very good condition. NE region seems to be about same price range. Warmer regions seem to have cheaper prices probably because of more supply. Boxsters are pretty rare in Midwest region. I'm also considering mileage of about 30,000-50,000 mile range.

Looks like it -- different steering wheel styles and only one has sport chrono...

Yes, thats my fault. we had two cars, one we built into a grand am car we're racing as the #09 car. that one shot of the interior out in the bright sun is from the #09 car prior to being built up.

the car for sale was never built up, but was bought to be built, a project that never came to fruition.
we bought this car because it was a low # of owners, had a terrifically strong motor, and never had an accident or issue, and was in great mechanical shape.

the photos in the link to the smugmug site, are in our warehouse as of today.
its a 2005 boxster S, just under 40k miles. was just serviced by our shop.
The car has the sport chrono.
I've listed it up on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=290557953636
if any fellow rennlister would like her, let me know.
much love for the 987s on this end.
seems like no matter what other cars i buy , i always seem to end up with these chick magnets.

Default why do you start with boxsters

and not caymans for the race cars?

(I'm not a boxster hater, btw...I absolutely love them)
