I wanted to post these fantastic shots of Only1Buck's Guards Red Spyder.

I would love to see this one in person.

Afshin,

Thank you for posting up ... I appreciate at it...

minor mods done

replaced existing storage lid between the seats with an alcantara one (no logo)

put in Black screens in the front grill to prevent the collection of leaves and other stuff
(I followed the instructions that came with it)

When the weather becomes truly spring maybe we can work out a Spyder meet

No problem Steve.

Can you post pictures of the grill installation, I'm also going to do the same on my car later this summer (before the fall).

No doubt that we will have to plan a Spyder meet for all of the North East owners. It will probably need to be in Southern Rhode Island or Central Connecticut so it's centrally located to everyone and close enough to allow us all some time to talk and learn more about the cars. I'll put up a post next month to determine the best date and get suggestions for locations.

Nice car, love the Guards Red. Just entered a deal on a Guards Red Boxster myself. Good luck.

I will take pictures tomorrow of the mods done. For the mesh screens I followed the instructions provided with the screens

The only 2 options I see which add weight are the AC and navi, which is about 40lbs. Most spyder owners will add AC and radio anyways. Plus, a diet and a thinner wife can easily solve the weight issues.

A lightweight battery also quickly negates the A/C and Radio. Easily worth it to have A/C and Radio for the price of a lightweight battery.
