I like the Caymans as well but have been mostly a 911 guy since 1974. Would love to have one on the side. You can't beat all that stainless steel!

I'm fortunate to have both a 911 and a Boxster. I love my 911, but the Boxster's handling is sublime - it dances around corners like a ballerina. The 911 (in the hands of THIS amateur) feels heavier and I have to work harder to get it close to its handling potential.
All in all, they're both great cars.

I also have a 911 and a Boxster. The boxster is such a fun car. I have more fun thrashing it around on a twisty road than the 911. The Boxster is balanced, agile, forgiving, easy to control.
The other thing I like about the Bx is I can take it anywhere, park it anywhere, and pretty much not have to worry about it. No one gives it a second glance. Can't do that with a neon blue 911. It draws lots of attention, and then there's the jealous punks who just want to ruin anyones enjoyment.
I think quite a few 911 buyers might have ended up in a Cayman if they'd bothered to look at and drive one first.
