2006 997 c4 audio questions
I am looking at a 2006 997 with standard audio and would like to know:
1. Does the standard CD play mp3 discs.
2. If not can the CD player be upgraded to play mp3
3. Can a 6 disc changer be installed and does it play mp3
4. Does the audio have an aux input for an ipod
5. Can bluetooth be integrated in the audio
6. Can homelink be installed?

I don't think the factory cd player or changer can play mp3s. There is an upgrade to add an ipod hookup to the center console. There is also a bluetooth upgrade. Both upgrades are available from the dealer but if you're looking to play cds with mp3s on them it would probably be cheaper to completely replace all of the factory Porsche stuff with aftermarket. I don't recall seeing any 997s without homelink so I'm not sure about adding it.
