Default Orange boxster S limited edition

I was at the dealership in Va Beach last week and took out an Orange S that I was told was a limited edition. It was a great little car. I didn't care for the steering wheel but as a whole I am leaning toward getting her. My wife things the color will get old fast and I should look at a more traditional color. Any one on here have that orange color and if so are you still happy with it?
Thanks

Have seen one on the beltway. Looks even better in person than in photos. A color like this will be polarizing to most people -- they'll either love it or hate it. Happen to love it and think you should get it if you do to.

My wife took delivery of an LE S late Oct 07. She loves the car. The LE package is quite a value and the sport exhaust is a nice addition. The orange and black is very distinctive and I think works well on the Boxster. Obviously it won't be acceptable to some tastes, but I think it's a welcome change from the current trend of black, silver, red, and grey. There was a time when Porsche offered a large variety of colors that made the cars a lot more interesting and individual.

Perhaps she would prefer the RS60 coming soon, Gt Silver with Natural Grey interior and Black Top or
Gt Silver with Red interior and top, small hp increase.

Kind of reminds me of the color of my old 914 2.0. (I always liked that color.)

It's mega that orange colour but the special edition is only available in the US.

I believe in the sports car having a sports colour as well so I've so I've signed for a Speedgelb 987 S.

I would have gone for the orange one if it was available here.

By the way Charlie, I think it is nearer the 914 Blood orange than the signal orange....

You're probably right. I'm not familiar with all those colors. But it does remind me of my car.

If you decide to buy it, give Valley Motors in MD a call. They have one that they are heavily discounting.
