Default Racing stripes! Opinions....?

Discuss.

Warning, they put 60 hi-rez pics in the listing, my work computer is gasping and wheezing trying to show them to me.

I like it.

The side graphics look pretty good, but the stripes down the hood/roof are a little over the top IMHO.

Ouuuu, yeah so on the sides...ok. On the top and hood? Just say no. It's not a Mustang, ladies.

sides don't look good.

hood stripes look ok if a racing car. it is not.

reminds me of a neon for some reason.

My ex-girlfriend had a racing stripe---or was it a landing strip?

OK, tallying up (I should've made a poll) taking into account the split opinions on the sides and top.

Side graphics: +4 to -4

Stripes: +2 to -7

So far.

I still like the whole package. It's fun and very race-car... and trust me if I got that car it would be getting gutted and raced.

If you gut it and race it then ok. Otherwise you'll have every ricer hanging from your ***.

I'm thinking 3 things *might* happen withing 5 years:
1) This car, or one like it, will be dirt cheap on the used end of the dealership lot,
2) By then there should be a decent supply of (hopefully reasonably priced) 3.8 X51 motors available from junkyards,
3) Many companies will be offering a variety of highly-developed racing suspension setups for the Cayman, and there will be some available on the used market also as people drop their Caymen to hop onto newer Porsches.

Now that would be a giant-slaying track toy.

A man can dream, can't he?
