Default Help Needed: Headlight Adjustment

Can anyone tell me what type of driver & size (e.g. torx, phillips, etc.) to use for adjusting the hight of the headlight beams on an '05 Boxster S?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you have an 05 Boxster S, you should just take it to the dealer. They usually do it for free. I have an 05 Boxster S also, I have not looked but there should be an adjustment tool in your toolset. I remember having one int my 2001 Boxster.

Thanks for your posts...the headlights aim way too low (they have since new) and, based on experience, have found the local dealer not to be very helpful...still looking for the type and size of driver if anyone knows.

Thanks.

I too have the same problem, I had my headlights stolen once, and after replacing them the dealer hasnt been able to adjust it to the way they were when new, and know when I try to do it myself, the only way is to take the headlight out adjust, reinstall and check, then do it again till you get it, but it is a pta, so I also want to know which tool to use, the one provided in the tool kit is too big, and the ones that I have bought at the autozone are too short... any info would be great!

You were correct, 99firehawk...the adjustment tool for the headlight hight is a 5 mm allen head..Thanks! As my allen head wrenches were not long enough, I had to remove the headlghts (with the tool contained within the factory-supplied kit) and then adjust the lights.

Thanks again for your help!
