265/40 zr18 rear
I guess what I'm trying to say is
I'm really impressed with the driving characteristics of the boxster.
Though at highway speeds I do feel more kidney bounce than the 911
Not sure if I answered your question right?
alex911s,
Nice ride

I would imagine the S or a Cayman S with a 6 speed would feel considerably different power-wise.
Interesting comment about the 987 feeling more kidney bounce than the 996. Out of the box, I think the Cayman handles volumes better than a 986. To me, the 986 is considerably softer with the front end underdamped and bobbing around too much. Maybe this is some of the tuning. Stiffer shocks but higher profile tires?

comopared to 996, 986 has less front end bobbing.

What's curious is that the 996 is comparatively lighter in the front yet the shocks are stiffer than the 986. Go figure. Maybe it's because the CG is much further behind exaggerating the motion?
