The cooler is an aftermarket part, I'm getting more info on it in two weeks. Apparently the car was seeing 250 deg. at Sebring. (I have a 993 Turbo S auxilliary cooler in my Parts Heap, but it's pretty small, I suspect this one will have to be a little bigger).

I will have info on the JRZ Doubles in a day or two, the Sebring car uses Leda dampers.

I thought the US cars were the same height as ROW starting with the 997 and 987 series?!

You may be right-- it's the PASM equipped cars that sit a little lower. But this car needs to sit a LOT lower, in my opinion.

Are you going to get a deep sump kit from BK or Mantis?

Colin-- The Mantis kit sounds interesting, I want to learn a little more about it-- Who is making the other one? I am definitely worried about oil-starvation on this car, with the fabulous Porsche "semi-dry sump" motor.

FlatSix911-- Will do on the wheels, but I may just keep the 18s for streets. They're good looking and fairly light.

BTW-- Anyone know who males a 5 m.m. spacer kit for this car? The Porsche price of this option, even at whosesale, is ridicuous.

when i spoke with earnie at mantis, his sump it is just an extended gasket. does that sound right or maybe i didn't understand him. i think a deep sump pan is cheap insurance for catastrophe.

You could just do a Accusump right? 3qts extra, and pressure-sensitive.
