Tall guy sat in Cayman S today. Odd observations I have.

I sat in one last week. 6'4", 36" inseam, 230 lbs. Plenty of head room, but the legs were not able to stretch out enough to be comfortable on a long trip. I also put the wheel up a bit and all the way out. That clearance was OK, but the amount of bend in the leg, with no relief, seems a bit troublesome.
Also, I sat in both the base seats and the adaptive sport seats, and found the latter to have just a smidge more leg room, but not enough to write home about.

Folks,
Was over at Brumos in Jacksonville the other day with a friend that test drove the Cayman S. He's about 6'2 to 6'4. Not exactly sure on the numbers but I'm 5'11 and I definitely look up to him when we go eyeball to eyeball!
He had a great experience but it was tainted by the fact that (with the seat in the lowest position they could manage on the test drive) he was consistently looking out the top two inches of the windshield.
I can completely understand his preferrence for a lower 'point of view' as our family has a 2001 Dodge Intrepid with its 'Cab Forward' design and I find myself having the same problem and it's very disconcerting.
I have no such problem in our '88 944 and '86 911. Have any of you 'tall' guys run up against the same issue in the Cayman S? I could understand it being a 'deal breaker' for a tall person and was wondering if there's a solution (different factory seat rails, etc.) available.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but this has helped me a lot. All I can say is damn. The Cayman S is, well was, a contender as a next car, but it appears that I may be out of luck on this since I am 6'05" with a 54" chest. Doesn't sound like this would be a very comfortable ride for me.
