Yep, obviously it is not the case. It's just what what my dealer told me, and the sticker/color of the car I saw appears identical to the car shown at the beginning of this thread. I guess they ran out of silver paint.

Never have liked those wheels, even on the 997- just too busy. Good looking car,but the round fog lights in front just seem out of place to me, but I'm no car designer...
