Figured as much Jim. I am on the fence between about 4 cars come this spring when I buy another car (DD and track).

In no particular order and prices listed are projected Spring prices:
1. 996GT3 (CPO 04 about $80)
2. 996TT (CPO 01-04 $65-85)
3. 997S ($85-90K)
4. CaymanS ($65 with options)

I need to drvie all 4 to determine what is best for me and I don't drink the 911 kool-aid exclusively. Just want the best set-up for my needs....besides I change my mind daily when I thnk about these cars!

If you're planning on a lot of track use, and you're planning on BUYING the car as opposed to leasing, I would definitely go with the GT3 or Turbo. Their drivetrains were DESIGNED for track use and adopted for street use, not the other way around.
