Saw a Cayman in the flesh today in downtown L.A., they were filming a commercial by the Bonavenure Hotel. Unfortunately I did not have my camera and I was in a shuttle from my club to Staples Center and didn't even have time for a camera-phone pic.
That is so cool......thanks Pierre! Looks like Cobalt Blue, not one of my choices, but good to see it in another color. At first glance I thought the side vents were black, but looking at them closely I believe they are painted body color.......good. Not really fond of the CC wheels, would have liked to have seen the Cayman S wheels up close.
Did you friend take any more pictures?

BTW, don't you guys think the Cayman is sitting too high? Definitely a need for a sport suspension here...

Of course the silver car could have more weight in the trunks... Note the blue car has the PCCB's and the Silver car does not, so it would be "odd" to build a car without PASM but with PCCB IMHO, vs the reverse, but maybe they did so for testing purposes, again hard to say. Overall I concur the Cayman needs a lower ride height and since H&R and others are making springs for the 987S (PASM models even) then I'm sure someone will for the Cayman eventually.
And most of the pictures I have seen of them seem to support this. I think Porsche just wanted to "mix-up" the options a little, but your right,.....those combos don't make too much sense.
