Where does the factory fire extinguisher mount on the 987?

It mounts onto the front of the passenger seat. There's a pic in the brochure. I'd scan it for you, but I can't find mine. I forgot to order the extinguisher on the 987S. I need it since certain clubs require it for the higher run groups, so I have it on order. Dealer seems to have a hard time obtaining it, though. I have a BK mount on the C4S, and it looks the same. If the dealer doesn't come through with the OEM mount, I'll just get the BK one for the 987S.

Thanks for the reply, I can't find the pic in my brochure. I thought it probably mounted close enough for the driver to reach it in case....
Hope you get yours.

No it doesn't interfere with my driving. I must admit that when we picked up the car I was initially suprised at where the fire extinguisher was located, but there's no room under the seat, and I guess there's no point having one if it's hidden away somewhere.

I would probably remove it otherwise until needed.
Jeeez, the last time I drove a car with one on board was with my old 1974 Pontiac Trans Am (worrying about an engine or electrical fire)
