Default 987 Lowering Springs ???

There are some great posts/pictures on the 997 board of cars lowered a tad with H&R springs.
Does anyone know if these will become available for the 987?

Hey Geoff -
Nothing yet. Hopefully this week.
Still unsure about your Porsche party. I'll keep ya posted.

If H&R offers springs for a non-PASM 997. I would assume they will be offered for the 987, if not already.

I just looked it up on the H&R site and the part number listed for the 2005 Boxster is the same as the part number for the 2004 Boxster.

Don't knoe for sure if they were changed. But, the 987 suspension has supposedly been changed to allow better geometry for 19" wheels by changing the pick up points for the suspension. I can only assume that the whole thing, springs and shocks, were changed as well to go with the changed geometry.

Palting -
What can you say about the cars ride height?
I noticed a good amount of wheel gap on my car last night. I think it would look a lot better if it were an inch or so lower.

You are talking to the wrong guy. I happen to be one of those that think the "slammed" look, wheels not concentric with the wheel well but rather with an eccentric bias and part of the tire hiding in the top of the well, is NOT cool. Looks like you're carrying 500 lbs extra weight. I know. It's not a popular opinion, but that's what I think. I think the ride height as-is is perfect. My only suspension change, if any, would be to make it more track ready. Track ready and maintaining a concentric look would be what I'd go for.

I'm not a big fan of the slammed look as well.
BUT...my car had about a 3-4 inch gap in between the tire and fender that looked rather large.
I'll just drive it for awhile and see how i like it.

I just thought of something. I have PASM. This lowers the car about 10mm. But, you have 19" wheels, right? That should make up for the difference in look. I have 1100 miles already , and it seems to have settled. Give it time. It's pretty stiff brand new.

Stacey, if your car hasnt been cleaned up yet maybe it still had the spacers they put in the springs to make loading and unloading off trucks and boats easier without scraping. I dont know?? just a thought.

Why not the ROW M030 springs? Lowers the car nicely and way cheaper than the H and R. Check out www.carnewal.com

As of now, there are NO M030 for the 987, only for the 986.
