Geeez guys!!! It's only a name. Big deal! Manufacturers have been naming their cars after animals for YEARS. Once you see this car, it will make a bit more sense to you. The head of the Cayman, and the curves of its eyes actually resembles the shape of the car. Honest.

Paul, did you attend the focus group? If so, care to share any more details? I've been told it's a hatchback.
I'm excited about the car itself. A mid-engined driver's coupe from Porsche? Sounds great! I just wish the name was more in keeping with Porsche tradition. It's a negative, and unecessarily so.

Yes, I was there and it is a hatchback. It's really beautiful, but I don't think it will hurt 911 sales or Boxster sales. It will appeal to the guys that are more concerned with a great performing/handling Porsche at a better price.

Did either of the examples have a sunroof? My salesman and I were debating whether it was even possible with the roof/hatchback design.
