Default 2007 987.1 Base Cayman SPP Sound Package Plus ASK Speaker 8" Door

I have not pulled the door panel yet and wanted to confirm this before I do so I can order the replacement, used on eBay or elsewhere.

Can anyone provide me with the exact model number / part number of the SOUND PACAKGE PLUS non Bose "ASK" branded Italy made door speaker that is consider the 8" size? I realize the speaker itself may be a 6.5" but most of what I am seeing refers to it as an 8". I have a blown speaker on passenger door and rather than put in a different brand, I want to retain stock and buy a pull or used one. Also, can anyone confirm if that is a 2ohm or a 4ohm speaker? I want to retain the ASK AMP and everything else but will be putting in a new head unit.

Forever thankful to anyone that can give me the exact part/model and maybe where to source. Non Bose, SPP, 2007 base Cayman, right side door, 8". Thank you!

I THINK it might be this one, but I am not certain and want to order the proper one before I pull my door apart.

If so, this would be a 997.645.553.00

Googling that part above also leads me here https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...645-553-00-OEM but I do not see any mention of size or impedance. I think this might be the right one?

Hey Nate, that PN looks about right, and it's certainly NOT an 8-inch.
Quite likely buying a used one will be nearly, or soon as, bad as what you're replacing.
If at all possible, unless you just want to just kick the can down the road, you should replace with new, or modern type.
Plus, you can go to a real 8-inch!

Plus, the others too, with some good details here.

Kuro - THANK YOU! What is the brand/make/model is that speaker on the right that was put into the housing? Also - Doesnt the replacement have to be 2ohm? Crutchfield has about 8 6" to 6.5" that will FIT phsically but none are 2ohm. The closest is a JBL that is 3ohm. I feel like that replacement spaker, if keeping the ASK amp, must be a 2ohm.
