987 Boxster Amp Upgrade Speaker Wire - Help
Good morning, I am installing a 4CH AMP to replace factory bose in 987 boxster. Looking at the factory amp harness and the speaker wire diagram. The boxster does not have REAR speakers, but the harness (see attachment) shows rear left and right speakers...Blue/blue brown (location 26 & 31); and white/white brown (location 25 & 30).
Amp is installed and running all speakers normally without these two rear speaker wires - blue and white wires connected.
Any ideas...Should I connect them spliced into the front speakers? Another thought is that the harness is generic to cayman and Boxster, so perhaps the wires serve no purpose in the Boxster because there are no rear speakers.
