Default What do you think of this car?

I'm going to look at it Friday. I've been looking for an autocross/track car. My one concern is that he says the engine consumes about a quart of oil on track days. It was rebuilt about 20K ago, and it's a Stage II Flat six engine.

Thoughts? Concerns?

Why not message FSI and ask them about the engine? They should know best about what is within spec for that engine and that use. Good luck!

What was the explanation about the oil consumption on track days?

I asked Flat Six and they said that's ok. It does blow a 3-4 second puff of smoke at startup. I plan on replacing the AOS. I used my manomter and had 3.95, fluctuating a tiny bit.
