Default Worried about Boxster Noises

Good evening Rennlist, I just bought a gorgeous 987 2006 Boxster, got a PPI and been driving it around. I absolutely love this thing, puts a smile on my face every time I press the throttle.

However, there are so many noises that these things can make, all of which mean something else. Can someone please listen to this and give me their opinion on it? I would really appreciate it. Thank you!!!

Default Here’s a better example. Taken through the rear passenger side vent.

She's a beauty! Sounds like a little lifter tick. Is that what you mean?

Thanks for the insight!

I’m mainly worried about causing damage to it/harm. If it is lifter tick is it a problem?

I just bought it and with all the problems this car can have, I just want to make sure I didn’t get a lemon. Or also to see if I have something that should be addressed soon.

That's your injectors. Get worried when you don't hear that particular sound.

Cheers

Cool. I considered injectors but it didn’t seem fast enough for that to be it. I would’ve thought injector noise would be really fast paced. But I also don’t know a ton about this yet.

Thanks!
