Default Trasmission fluid leaking out ?

Hello
I have a problem here currently that has me confused. I just finished doing a Flywheel/Clutch/Pressure plate replacement, and I also replaced Clutch release lever/Clutch release bearing on the transmission
.
At the end I replaced the Transmission fluid and closed the two plugs correctly not to tight not to loose. I went for a drive to check make sure everything was working correctly, got home, parked in my driveway and notice a small line leading up to my driveway, its transmission fluid it smells like trans fluid, but all the fill holes are dry and clean , it seems to be coming out from the engine and trans connections. when I filled the car it was lifted a bit high from the back and I added required amount, BUT if by mistake I may have over filled is this something that will eventually settle or did something blow out.

Obviously, you need to investigate and determine exactly where the fluid is coming from. Any maybe pray that its coolant, not tranny fluid. Google the differences but I would say that Porsche coolant is red, which is also the color of some transmission fluid.

If it is dripping out of the small hole at the bottom of the interface between the transmission and the engine, that would not be great news. It means that you've managed to damage the seal at the output shaft of the transmission, or it could be oil from the rear main seal on the crankshaft.

Its smells like trans oil, also its very dark with that trans oil odor. For sure not antifreeze and the rear main seal was replaced but who knows if in the mix that also failed to seal correctly even thou I am pretty sure that went well. I have a good feeling it could be the seal. The question I guess I still have, if I could have over filled would draining a bit cause the leak to stop (pulling straws here in hope). it seems to have stopped while not running but I know once it warms up the pressure may cause it to explode again.
The leak is only from the passenger side of the car, The driver side is totally dry.
PS nothing is really coming out of the main hole it seems to be at the seem of the passenger side. very weird

I will update, I think I am just going to hand this over to my Porsche Mech, I can't break my back again.

What about the clutch hydraulic circuit? Did you any issues with bleed valve?

The Clutch slave cylinder was replaced, and it was extremely easy to bleed with the pressure bleed bottle I have that connects in the front to the Fluid bottle, withing seconds it was done. A few bubbles came out then it was steady stream. That works great.

Its just a dam shame after all that hard work to see this thing leaking. It breaks my heart and soul, and finding someone local to me in Edison NJ its rather hard and to trust since I really don't know any Porsche mechanics. I am worried they see this car and it's here comes money, which I really don't have lololo. But it is what it is.

Guys
A quick question from your knowledge, I have the car raised and level, looking to see if I see any additional leaking and to really pinpoint location without driving wind.
QUESTION:
If the tranny is leaking, will I see it with the car raised OR do I have to be shifting and driving to stimulate motion withing the tranny and the engine and cause said leak ?.

If you need to see a mechanic to diagnose the source of this issue I'd recommend Rob at Powertech in Rockaway. I know it may be a hike, but he's good and ethical.

If you have the car on jack stands with the rear wheels off the ground, I would certainly expect that running the car in gear would pressurize the system.
There are also seals at the output of the half shafts. I would take a look at that area.

UPDATE: I took my car thou a bit far but totally worth it to UNION LINE Garage in Pennington NJ. The issue was my installation of the rear engine seal that was not properly done and was leaking.
Issued solve, next time I have to do the clutch replacement, I may take a chance and skip that seal IF I do it myself, I should have not even gone near it and taken the chance of future failure.
I want to thank you all for your support and responses.

Nah, you tried and messed up, but that's how you learn. Next time you know to be more careful on that step and pay attention to do it right: you'll be fine.

I still usually buy a couple of seals when I need to do a job. They can be a little tricky sometimes, and if I'm not happy with the way the first one went in it lets me just redo the job.
