I was thinking the taller lift pads would potentially give you some breathing room on the rocker panels IF the car has enough ground clearance. Race ramps would be an option, but I feel like it adds some more complications to the whole thing... meaning if you are investing in a lift, I'd want it to work out of the box. Not to mention, they aren't exactly cheap. Last I checked, they were about $1,000 for the low profile lift ramps you would likely need. I've used a set of race ramps over a scissor lift, but that is a different set up altogether. I needed the ramps just to get the car comfortably over the scissor lift itself.
