Thanks Kuro. I have seen a lot of good reviews on silicone blades, especially the PIAAs, and wanted to give them a try. Was surprised that it is proving so hard to find the darn things. The Bosch are a fine blade many in the group like and I may well end up with getting those if I can't find a decent source for the PIAAs.

ha! stupid me...those look like the perfectly good set of blades i threw away because the big, bulky and ungainly plastic attachment mechanism was offending me while driving. so are the PIAA ones supposed to be superior for some reason?
i can't say for certain, but i think it's possible when installing wiper blades to remove the wiper blade and let the tightly sprung steel wiper mount snap back and break the oh-so-expensive windshield. ...i'm just guessing here or maybe i heard it happened to someone i know. i think it ruined his day.
I got these "Aero Hybrid" from amazon, $18 the pair. Look great (as far as wiper blades go) and manage to remove water when it rains! link
I too saw similar for sale on Yafuoku and Amazon, but avoided purchasing because they appear to lack the native curve in the passenger side blade?
Due to the profile of the Cayman front screen, the passenger side blade (LHD and RHD) is curved on both X and Y axis, to I assume provide full pressure over the wipe cycle.
Are these blades similarly curved and do they wipe with 100% contact through their sweep?
They are also really cheap, which sometimes concerns me with Chinese made stuff...
