I am the proud relatively new owner of a 2011 Cayman Base PDK. Purely DD (no track or autoX). Love everything except the exhaust sound (or lack of same). I plan to order the FVD Brombacher Sound Version Sport Mufflers (Cayman / Boxster 987.2). Have any of you had experience with this system? I will retain stock headers.
I am having that system installed on my 2014 981 Cayman Base next Thursday. Had planned to post videos comparing stock vs modified sometime next weekend.
One side note on ordering. The system comes directly from Germany. When I ordered the system, FVD Brombacher USA expected delivery within 10 days. It turned out that the COVID situation in Germany slowed production and shipping such that the resulting delivery time was about 30 days.
Rhonda at FVD Brombacher USA was extremely helpful in answering my pre-order questions, assisted with the order process and kept me apprised of the production/delivery process. They did drop-ship the system directly to my indy shop so it's waiting there for installation. I was very pleased with the customer service.
